At least a book contains all the Fischer's games!!!

I think for such a great player ( or greatest ) as Fischer, his complete collection of games should be published. Unfortunately for the time being , no one had done this job. Fischer's " my 60 memorable games" covers only games up to 1967. Wade's book only a collection and with a few games annotated and also has been out of print. Soltis book only covers 100 games, so for the time being this is only choice. I hope in the future someone can do the job produce and annatate all the games of Bobby Fischer!!! But for the time being what we can do is to buy this book, and play through and help with a computer to appreciate Fischer's games!!!

Bobby fishcer may not be a good human being, But if theyre is anything he does know is chess. Even though theyre are no notes with the games, the amount of games really does make up for it!!
you can learn alot just by going through the games. So if youre a fan of chess you really owe it to youreself to get this book...I still have a long way to go though!!!!
so get youre notebook ready and prepare to do some serious studying.

Comprehensive book. Unfortunately, not insightful nor user friendly.

Comprehensive:

I am a big fan of Fischer, the chess player, and it is a shame that his personal beliefs are something that his fans have to come to terms with. That beings said, this book has arguably every published game that Fischer played.

Not insightful:

The author's annotations are very brief and do not explain anything beyond the obvious. Some of the games have a cryptic "!" or "?" symbol with out any explanation of WHY the move deserves attention. So if the person is below intermediate strength, this book might be more frustrating than useful.

Not user friendly:

Be ready to squint your eyes. The physical presentation of this book is very inconvenient at best. The author did everything he could to compress this book into the smallest layout possible at the cost of creating eye strain, he even removed the "x" capture symbol to save space. Every game has a diagram that is literally about the size of a US quarter [see image]. Also, all the moves are typed in BOLD and the annotations are printed in plain text. It would have been much easier to read if the moves in plain text and the annotations in bold. Forty move games are crushed into a 4 by 1 rectangle which makes it difficult to read the moves off a table without losing your place.

Over all, this is a good book but could be better if it was user friendly.

Iran, being a revolutionary society, experienced two great revolutions within the short span of just seventy years, from the 1900s to the 1970s. Both were massive revolts of the society against the state; the main objective of the first being to establish lawful government to make modernisation possible, and the second, to overthrow the absolute and arbitrary state, though this time mainly under the banner of religion and Marxism-Leninism and anti-Westernism. Neither of them succeeded in their lofty ideals for reasons that are explained and analysed within.

The author also offers a detailed description of Iran’s short-term society, examining the political and intellectual lives of two of the most remarkable intellectuals-cum-politicians of the twentieth century. This book provides an overview of modern Persian literature, both poetry and prose, and discusses the works of three of the most remarkable Persian poets and writers of the period. It considers classical Persian literature through the great variety of its form and substance, and neo-classical literary developments in the nineteenth century, covering the whole history of Persian literature. This is crowned in the last chapter by the love poetry of one of the greatest Persian poets.

My favorite immunology review source

We get this book free through our med school library, so I thought I'd give it a shot in reviewing for our immunology final. This quickly became my favorite review book. First aid is okay, but doesn't go into enough detail for the test. This book doesn't go into as much detail as the lecture, but it's great for review. It was two weeks exactly between the first day of immunology lecture and our comprehensive immunology exam, so something concise was needed. I also wouldn't use this to learn out of the first time, at least for immunology, because it seems to jump around a lot and talk about important topics before they are explained, but of course it is intended to be a review. I highly recommend it, and I will update my review after our microbiology module.
