I spent $6000 and 5 years of my life passing the 3 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams. How did I do it? What did I learn? How did I study? What would I recommend to future CFA Program candidates?
Shortly after finding out that I had passed the third and final level, I sat down to write a brief document to answer such questions. The more I wrote, the longer it got. I combined both questions I remembered having before and during the program, as well as those I received through my blog (luminouslogic.com). Very True, Well Worth the Read

I'm preparing for level 2 in 6 days. I took a 1-hour break from studying to read this book, and can't agree enough with everything said. I actually laughed out loud when I saw the picture of the study area during the last week before one of the exams: notebook computer on the desk, books, papers, flashcards and other assorted study materials EVERYWHERE. My room looked exactly like that for level 1, and already looks this bad for level 2.
The CFA exams melt your brain and test your ability to learn, learn, learn. It is too bad not everyone is aware how much effort is required.
It was a fun break!

i have read the book , but now i am studying it. i believe this one need to be read by any one think about applying to CFA exam. i have meet Brent through his website which was great and when i email him he was generous and very helpful to give and answering your question even the stupid ones. almost every little questions that appear in my head about the exam i found Brent talk about it and it is very helpful indeed.
